Hotels Update from Paddy

Have you been to Glencoe yet? It's really great …much better than I had hoped it could be….Anthony and Louisa (who I have known since she was in nappies as the daughter of one Jeremy Legg …former manager and now boss at easy-breaks.com are really what make it. Please let there be no misunderstanding - the hotel looks and feels fantastic but it is their kindness and fun that make the place feel just great…and of course Louisa's excellent ginger bread men!

Just to let you know we have just completed the upgrade of the Chevin Lodges - here is a link to more information and a a couple of snaps………... They look absolutely cracking certainly 4 star!" . We also have a start date set to double the size of the Sonas Spa we have at Chevin and it will be ready for late June - this allows much more space of rest and recuperation and a high quality make over of what's already there.

In the North East Elgin presses on with more upgrades and we intend to spend £350k on the Spa and gym as soon as contractors can be confirmed - this will really move the hotel into a different league and I am looking forward to seeing where Hamish (leisure club manager) and Donald (hotel general manager) take the place when complete. Our architects have also been working hard to finalize plans for an additional 25 double and twin bedrooms (which will also mean we can finally sort out some of the remaining single rooms). The style of bedrooms we are going to make quite contemporary - we have a Crerar style but with brand new bedrooms we think we can take it to the next level and beyond….more on that later …and any suggestions would be very welcome.
