Crerar Hotels is part owned by a charitable trust called Crerar Hotel Trust. With this, Crerar Hotels donates almost 50% of the distributable profit to the trust for distribution to needy causes within 1 hour driving distance of a Crerar Hotel or where our customers live. Crerar Hotels firmly believe that charity begins at home and it is extremely important to Crerar Hotels that we give back to our community with real community based charities that effects all of our everyday lives. Paddy Crerar is the Chairman of Crerar Hotels Trust, and Paddy would like to highlight a couple of the very worthwhile charities from the bi annual donation list.

Euan Macdonald Centre – "This donation is a very important one and helped to purchase a Confocal microscope. This highly advanced bit of equipment will help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease".

Crerar Hotels Trust has pledged £300,000 over the next 5 years to this very important cause. The Euan MacDonald Centre was established in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2007, by the generosity of motor neurone disease patient Euan MacDonald and his father, Donald. The Euan Macdonald Centre aims to give a full spectrum of clinical services for MND patients, World-class research into the causes of MND and potential therapies and training for the next generation of clinicians and research leaders.”
