Autism Initiatives
Autism Initiatives is a Liverpool based organisation working throughout the UK. They work with people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), together with their families and carers. Donations made in 2007/08 by Crerar Hotels equate to £4,200. Visit Autism Initiatives website. 


Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK is the leading charity dedicated to research into cancer in Britain. They organise events throughout the country to encourage sponsorship and donations. Crerar Hotels have made donations of £2,500 in the past year to the charity. Visit Cancer Research UK's website.


Capability Scotland
Capability Scotland work with children, adults and families who live with disabilities, supporting them in their everyday lives. The organisation is one of Scotland's leading disability establishments and has almost 60 years experience of providing services to disabled people, of all ages, throughout Scotland. Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes was thought up by Chairman Bryn Parry and is now run by him and his wife. The campaign is approved by the head of the army, Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt, and is backed by the Army Benevolent Fund. The charity raises money for ex-servicemen and women, and Crerar Hotels donated £25,000 to them in 2008. Visit Help for Heroes website

Hearts and Minds
Edinburgh based Hearts & Minds' main aim is to improve the quality of life of those people in hospitals and hospice care through the medium of performing arts. Hearts & Minds benefit over 12,500 children, the elderly and their families across Scotland every year. Macmillan Cancer Relief Fund
Macmillan Cancer Support aims to improve the lives of those affected by Cancer. Their support is shown in a multitude of channels; practical, financial, medical and emotional. The organisation's ambition for 2010 is "to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer." Marie Curie Cancer Care
Marie Curie Cancer Care provide nursing care to cancer patients and terminally ill people in their homes at no cost to the patient. The nurses work round the clock and also provide practical and emotional support for the patients' families and carers. Music in Hospitals
Music in Hospitals is a charity who aims to help adults and children dealing with no specific type of disease in general, but who will benefit from the therapy of music and the happiness it brings. More than 4000 concerts per year are performed in hospitals, care homes, hospices, day care centre's and special needs schools throughout the UK. Penumbra (Respite & Care) Ltd
Penumbra is one of Scotland's leading mental health organisations. They offer a variety of support services, to adults and young people. Penumbra envisages a society where people with mental health problems expect recovery and are accepted, supported and have resources to fulfill their potential." Positive Help
Positive Help, based in Edinburgh and the Lothians area, are a registered charity offering practical help to children and adults alike who are living with HIV and AIDS. Crerar Hotels donated £5,000 to the Charity last year. Visit Positive Help's website.


Revive Scotland
Revive Scotland is a charity dedicated to helping those affected by Multiple Sclerosis. The charity provide training and education, carry out research and analysis, and provide therapy services in and around Glasgow. Scottish Society for Autism
The Scottish Society for Autism has been supporting people with autism and their families for over 40 years. The Society aims to provide high quality support and opportunities for them, while at the same time raising public awareness and influencing policy and practice by working together with a range of organisations. Turning Point Scotland
Turning Point, established for almost 25 years, help people through a number of difficulties such as alcohol and drug addictions, mental health and learning disabilities. Turning Point Scotland became a separate entity in 1999 and describe themselves as providing "person centred support to adults with a range of complex needs." Waverley Care
Waverley Care was founded during the HIV epidemic in Scotland in 1989. Waverly Care offer a wealth of information through their website ith the aim of education, as well as various support tools such as buddy systems and events.
