Throughout the day, relax on leather sofas in the aptly named Garden Lounge, chat with friends at informal benches in the cosy main bar or unwind in the conservatory bar area. Choose from an enxtensive daytime menu which includes such favourites as beer battered Whitby haddock, prime Yorkshire beef burger and grilled Nidderdale lamb chops. Alternatively enjoy lighter options such as Caesar salad, local smoked salmon and a range of sandwiches. Lounge and bar food is available from midday until 9.30pm each day.
We are delighted to feature a local Yorkshire ale in our bar, Mary Jane as produced by the nearby Ilkley Brewery. It is a classic pale ale with a crisp taste and refreshing citrus aroma. Nearby, guests can find out more about local ale brewing at the Black Sheep Brewery and Saltaire Brewery, both of which have visitor centres.
For a unique lunch alternative, we offer a picnic menu which we will deliver to you anywhere in our grounds. We have picnic tables available around the grounds which can be booked for lunch or afternoon tea - just let us know when and where you'd like to eat and we'll deliver and set up....all you have to do is relax and enjoy your food.
