Wildlife Watching on Mull
Isle of Mull is the number 1 wildlife watching destination in the UK, the sheer variety of the species on this wild life paradise is truly amazing. BBC Autumnwatch and BBC Springwatch have highlighted the national importance of Mull to wildlife in Scotland and the UK. One of the most exciting and important wildlife projects on Mull is RSPB Eagle Watch and is the first and only public viewing facility in the world.

Started in 2000 as a community protection and public viewing scheme, this was showcased by Gordon Buchanan's wildlife film "Eagle Island" which has now been broadcast a far away as the USA and Australia. "Mull EagleWatch" run daily ranger-led walks and with the power of CCTV you can also see live footage from the nest itself. The RSPB are also tracking two white tailed eagles by satellite- follow their journey.

Fishing on Mull
The Isle of Mull can offer high quality sea fishing and fresh water fishing, as is demonstrated by the waters around mull holding the current boat record for Common Skate, Grey Gurnard and Plaice. There are several lochs on Mull with Loch Frisa being the biggest loch on Mull and holds good numbers of brown trout. Other lochs and rivers on Mull worth noting are Loch Ba, Loch Assapol and the River Aros.

Historical Site - Torosay Castle
Torosay Castle was designed by David Bryce in 1858 in the Scottish Baronial style. Today visitors to the castle are able to enjoy a tour round the grandeur of the principal rooms, all of which contain wonderful collections of family portraits and antiques. In addition, there are 12 acres of spectacular gardens whilst the children can have fun in the adventure playground.

Historical Site - Duart Castle
Situated almost guarding the main sea crossing to Mull, Duart Castle is the historical home of the MacLeans and it enjoys a spectacular and unique location at the intersection of the Sound of Mull, Loch Linnhe and the Firth of Lorne. It has been sympathetically restored over many years and is now open to the public.

Whisky - Tobermory Distillery
The famous, small Tobermory Distillery is the only one on the island of Mull, marketing a single malt whisky under the name of Ledaig and a whisky blend. The distillery sits on the shores at Tobermory and is open to visitors for tours.
