Getting to Mull

Mull is only a 40 minute sail from Oban with Caledonian Macbrayne. This is part of the experience of coming to Mull. There is also a ferry crossing from Coran to Fishnish.

 

Historic Visitor Attractions on Mull

While on Mull it is well worth taking the time to visit our two historic castles with gardens. They are only a 30 minute walk from the hotel or alternatively you can drive.

 

Wildlife on Mull

Mull is renowned for the variation of wildlife and you should keep an eye open for the deer who walk freely all over the island. There are 10000 of them so it is difficult not to see them amongst many other creatures.

 

Islands around Mull

The most accessible island from Mull is the island of Iona, which is a must if you visit Mull. Iona cathedral is well worth investigation.

 

Touring around Mull

There are many modes of transport available once you are on Mull however you do require your own car to maximise on these facilities.

 

Other resources

One of the biggest events on Mull is the Tunnock's Tour of Mull rally which is held in the month of October. Many vintage cars taking part in this big event.
