The River Spey stretches 107 miles is a popular trout and salmon fishing river and one of the finest places for angling in Scotland. The Strathspey Angling Improvement Association manage parts of the river around Grantown-on-Spey and administer all permits from Mortimers of Speyside.

Pitlochry Boating Station is located on the shores of Loch Faskally and is a magnificent setting in which to fish. Loch Faskally gets on average 5250 salmon passing through it's waters and also has a good number of brown trout, perch and pike.
