As part of the season of Coorie, we are inviting you to enter an exciting competition to showcase your photography skills.
Our seven 4 and 5-star properties across Scotland provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy Coorie throughout the winter months with thoughtful packages filled with Scottish treats, designed with your comfort in mind.
Whether it's being cosy beside the log fires, enjoying revitalising spa days, exploring the surrounding landscapes, or refuelling with hearty meals bursting with local produce; we want to know what Coorie means to you.
How to enter
- Share an original photo or video and explain what the popular Scottish word 'Coorie' means to you, using the hashtag #CrerarCoorie
- The photo or video must be at one of our seven properties, or in their surrounding areas during your stay or visit
- Enter on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook
- Make sure you are following your chosen property and Crerar Hotels on the platform you are entering from
- Tag your chosen property and @crerarhotels in your post. Tiktok entrants should only tag Crerar Hotels and reference the name of the chosen hotel.
- Multiple entries are allowed provided that the photo or video is different per entry.
Prize
The winning photograph will be displayed in one of our properties and the lucky winner will receive ‘The Ultimate Crerar450 Experience’ – a seven-night break for two people featuring an overnight stay at our seven properties located in Scotland’s most spectacular locations, including; Loch Fyne, Oban, Mull, Glencoe, Nairn, Inverurie and Ballater. Worth £3,500.
Following our Crerar450 driving route, your break will be inclusive of;

Terms & Conditions
- Entries will be accepted until the closing date of 31st March 2023, 23.59.
- The winner will be direct messaged on 14th April 2023.
- Images can be taken using any device but must be taken in, or around, one of Crerar Hotels’ seven hotels and inns.
- All entries have to be posted to Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook.
- The hotel, or inn, must be tagged in the post as well as @crerarhotels with the hashtag #CrerarCoorie
- Entrants must also follow the chosen property and @crerarhotels on the platform the entered through.
- Multiple entries are allowed. The photo must be different per entry.
- Entrants must be 18 years or above
- The winner will be notified on 14th April 2023 by direct social media message, only through the official @crerarhotels account. If the entrant does not respond within 48 hours, another winner will be selected.
- Any persons in the picture must have given permission to be entered into the competition.
- By posting an image on the hashtag you are agreeing that the image can be reused and reposted by Crerar Hotels and individual hotels for promotion purposes, with credit given to the original poster.
Prize Terms & Conditions
- The stay is valid until 31st December 2023.
- The stay is subject to availability. Blackout dates apply.
- The stay is valid for Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa, Oban Bay Hotel, Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa, Glencoe Inn, Golf View Hotel & Spa, Thainstone House and Balmoral Arms.
- The prize is valid for the winner and a plus one.
- The winner must agree to participate in any reasonable press or social media activities relating to the competition. The winner must agree to his/her name and/or photo and/or likeness being used for publicity purposes, without compensation.
- The winner agrees to photography being taken during the trip to be used for promotional purposes of Crerar Hotels.
- The winner cannot transfer the prize to another person. The prize is non-refundable. There are no cash or credit alternatives to the specified prize. The prize is not applicable to existing Crerar Hotels bookings.
- Winners are responsible for any additional costs.
