Hotel group helps drive forward support for MS Charity’s new vehicle

Crerar Trust has donated £4,024 to Revive MS Support towards a replacement vehicle to incorporate all new modifications for transporting people who are wheelchair users. The charity offers treatments, information and support to those affected by Multiple Sclerosis.

The charity is dedicated in helping people affected by MS by offering treatments, information and support when required with the help of a specialist team of therapists and experts in this field.  Supporting family and friends is, in addition, an essential part of the work at Revive MS Support.

Trust Fundraiser Kirsty Crichton said ‘Being able to offer a safe and adapted form of transport to our clients is paramount in assisting numerous housebound people to use services they would not normally be able to access. It is down to support from the Crerar Trust, amongst others, that has made this possible.’

Chief Executive of Crerar Hotels and Chairman of Crerar Trust, Paddy Crerar, said ‘supporting the charity which vows to make life better for people with MS by empowering them to live an enjoyable and fulfilling life is very important to us, the difference that this vehicle can make to allow these individuals access to an extensive number of therapies and classes Revive MS Support offer is something we are delighted to back’

The service allows users to travel to their main Therapy and Administration Centre in Maryhill from various parts of West and Central Scotland. Staff regularly travel to the Outreach Clinics offering an extensive number of therapies and classes.
