Crerar Trust Donations November 2019

In November 2019, the Crerar Trust donated its second round of funding this year. 38 charities and organisations received a total of £216,136.

The Crerar Trust was set up by the founders of the Crerar Hotel Group in 2005 to improve lives in communities near their hotels. £8m has been awarded to more than 400 charities since.

Grants are given out to organisations near Crerar’s hotels.  Applications are also accepted from charities near our office in Edinburgh, and hotels that have been sold in the last two years.

The Crerar Trust's funding is provided by half the Crerar Hotel Group’s distributable profits each year. This means every time a guest spends with us, more goes into the Trust’s funds.

Direct bookings, afternoon tea, whisky, sizzling steaks or well-earned spa treatments: it all helps diverse charities like Lothian Autistic Society, Etive Vikings Mini Rugby Club, Care for Carers and Together for Short Lives.
