Afternoon Tea at the Deeside Inn is a leisurely affair, served by the open fire in the lounge.

Traditionally decorated with many of its original Victorian features, the lounge is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon indulgence with friends or family. Our afternoon tea menu consists of your choice of tea, Victorian-style finger sandwiches and a selection of homemade sweets.

Tipping Our Team

Most of our guests now prefer to pay via debit or credit card including a charge for great service . To make this easier we have added an automatic service charge - we’ve made it a default 10% and you can change it to any level you wish including no service charge.

Our teams have always shared service charge and this is no different - every penny you might want to give is shared equally by our teams through our “Fair Fund”. There is no administration cost or anything retained by the company, what you may give is guaranteed to go to 100% to our team.

Service charge is entirely optional, if you would like us to remove it, you need only ask.

“Enjoying Afternoon Tea with loved ones is a long-standing British tradition, which was introduced to our nation in the early 19th century by the Duchess of Bedford. The Duchess often became hungry late afternoon and conceived the idea of having tea and a light bite around 4pm to ward off her hunger. And it was then that this great British tradition was born.”
