Crerar Trust Donations - November 2022

In November 2022, the Crerar Trust another round of funding where 16  charities and organisations received a total of £103,090.

The Crerar Trust was set up by the founders of the Crerar Hotel Group to improve lives in communities near their hotels. The Crerar Trust has now made over £7.5m in grants over the last 19 years to over 450 organisations.

The Trust are delighted that, despite the difficult circumstances created by Covid-19, they have recently been able to support a number of charities that applied to the Trust.  A wide variety of organisations received awards, including those providing support across health, education, and social inclusion to people of all ages.

The Crerar Trust's funding is provided by half the Crerar Hotel Group’s distributable profits each year. This means every time a guest spends with us, more goes into the Trust’s funds. Direct bookings, afternoon tea, whisky, sizzling steaks or well-earned spa treatments: it all helps diverse charities like Forres Area Community Trust, MS Therapy Centre Lothian, Seamab and Rowan Alba Ltd.
