The Speyside Way
Hotels and Accommodation near The Speyside Way
One of the four great long distance trails in Scotland, The Speyside Way began back in 1981 as a run from Spey Bay to Ballindalloch with Tomintoul being included in 1990. The route extended over the years to the size it is today, linking the Moray coast with the Grampian Mountains, usually following the great River Spey.
The total distance amounts to approximately 65 miles, which encompasses many terrains, stunning views and both uphill and downhill pathways. The area is suitable for walkers of all abilities, runners, cyclers and even for horse riders. The full route will see travellers bypass grand seascapes, charming wee villages and many malt whisky distilleries.
With Eight Acres Hotel & Leisure Club being only 18 miles from the start of the walk at Buckie, we offer ideal hotel accommodation for walkers to explore The Speyside Way.
