Floor-to-ceiling windows celebrate the shoreline panorama from morning to night, from breakfast to dinner. We find our inspiration in local Scottish produce: local catches of scallops and fish regularly feature on that evening’s menu.
A light breakfast of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, toast with Scottish butter and jams, coffee and a selection of teas. Or all of the above and a menu that includes Eggs Benedict, cinnamon French toast, peat smoked salmon, Finnan haddie and our house plate of smoked back bacon, farm egg, highlander sausage, haggis, Charles Macleod Stornoway black pudding and a grilled tomato. The vegetarian house plate has vegetarian sausage.
Seafood is locally-landed and meat comes from the Crerar Home Farm pedigree herds. Steaks are dry aged for 28 days before meeting the coal-fired Josper grill, which sears and chars for a unique texture and flavour.
Lunchtime buzzes with lively lighter bites executed with refined flair. By night, Hickory exudes composure and confidence. Sweeping curves and coppery crushed velvet of intimate booths usher in an evening of sensory delight. Marble table tops are assuredly cool, complemented by welcoming soft leather seating.

Our coastal location is home to some of Scotland’s - and indeed the world’s - best scallops, lobster, langoustines, and sea bass. We work with local farms, suppliers and artisan producers as much as we can to bring together the tastes of the area and the season for our menus.

“Dinner on both nights was superb ... the choice was good, varied and they catered for my wife who has dietary requirements. If I had any comments or advice it would be to keep doing exactly what they are doing.”
