Our Spanish Josper charcoal-fired grill achieves temperatures of over 400ºC to deliver an exceptional texture and flavour to our grill menu.
Grilled lobster and local fish appear regularly on the menu, whilst our Scottish beef is farm-assured, with steaks that are traditionally matured for a minimum of 28 days to ensure maximum flavour, tenderness and quality. Lammermuir Luing beef and red deer venison from our Crerar Home Farm also feature on our menus. All beef and venison are Scottish farm assured.
Guests start the day in the Grill Room with a full Scottish breakfast or a light continental choice.
A light breakfast of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, toast with Scottish butter and jams, coffee and a selection of teas. Or all of the above and a menu that includes Eggs Benedict, cinnamon French toast, peat smoked salmon, Finnan haddie and our house plate of smoked back bacon, farm egg, highlander sausage, haggis, Charles Macleod Stornoway black pudding and a grilled tomato. The vegetarian house plate has vegetarian sausage.
With a relationship going back many years, our wines are supplied to us by wine merchants De Burgh.

We work with local farms, artisan producers and local seafood suppliers, including hand-dived scallops from Mull, as much as we can to bring together the best of the area and the season in creative dishes for our menus.
Our private dining room can easily adapt to all kinds of celebrations, special occasions and private dining. Our team puts together a hand-picked menu, bespoke table setting and room décor for important birthdays, anniversaries or festive gatherings.
