FAQs for Scotland's Hotel & Leisure Club

Administration Charge
Pre-paid reservations via the Crerar Hotels website and direct with the hotel incur a £2.00 administration charge per transaction.

We ask that when you check in before ordering food, please inform a member of our team if you have a food allergy or intolerance.

Business services and internet access
Free WiFi internet access is available public areas but can be patchy, we are working with our IT specialist to overcome the challenges of the building and connectivity in 2018. Fax and photocopying services are also available (at a charge).

Cancellation policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: 48 hours in advance of the day of arrival. With the exception of pre-paid and non-refundable bookings.

Car parking
Free on-site car parking for up to 40 cars.

Check in and out

Check in: 3.00pm
Check out: 11.00am

Early check in and check out may be available on request, a supplement may be charged.

Children and families
A limited number of family rooms are available and children up to the age of 12 stay free of charge. Cots and high chairs are available for use free of charge.

Currency and credit cards accepted
The hotel accepts payments made by cash (Sterling only), most major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, American Express). 

The hotel is unable to accept personal or travellers cheques.

Advance payment may be made by any of the aforementioned methods or by bank transfer.  Please contact the hotel finance department for details.

Fair Fund
By opting to pay a service charge you’re helping us build our “Fair Fund”. This is given back to our whole team, and is available for team members’ personal development opportunities.

Food service

Dinner is served between 6.00pm and 8.30pm in the Faskally Restaurant. The hotel serves light bites from 10.00am to 9.00pm.  A Young diner’s menu is available. 


We are pet friendly and welcome well behaved dogs at Scotland’s Hotel at a charge of £10.00 per night (fresh drinking water is available on request).  Dogs are welcome in selected guestrooms, reception area and the grounds of the hotel. We ask that you clean up after your pet for the care of our other guests in the hotel.


Scotland’s Hotel is committed to providing guests and associates with a smoke free environment. All bedrooms, public areas and event spaces are non-smoking.

Special diets
We try and cater for just about any special diet, but advance notice is preferred for unusual requirements that may require specialist items to be ordered in advance. Vegetarian options are available in the restaurant on request.

Special occasions

If you're celebrating during your stay, we can help make it memorable. The hotel would be delighted to assist with arranging any of the following, to make your stay extra special - Champagne, chocolates, flowers and celebration cakes.
