On warmer days, you have the option to take your Afternoon Tea al fresco in the surrounds of the gardens and grounds.
Tipping Our Team
Most of our guests now prefer to pay via debit or credit card including a charge for great service . To make this easier we have added an automatic service charge - we’ve made it a default 10% and you can change it to any level you wish including no service charge.
Our teams have always shared service charge and this is no different - every penny you might want to give is shared equally by our teams through our “Fair Fund”. There is no administration cost or anything retained by the company, what you may give is guaranteed to go to 100% to our team.
Service charge is entirely optional, if you would like us to remove it, you need only ask.
Afternoon tea is served daily from 12pm to 5pm
Your choice of Brodies teas or coffee, Victorian-style finger sandwiches, a selection of warm savouries, a warm fruit scone and sweet treats including Victoria sponge and macaron.
Enhance your Afternoon Tea with a glass or bottle of soft and silky Henriot Champagne, fresh, crisp Prosecco Riflessi.
Combine your Afternoon Tea with a spa treatment for a day of relaxation. Your package can be tailored to your or your groups needs with single or multiple spa treatments planned in to your day. You'll also be able to make use of our leisure club, swimming pool, outdoor hot tub and oak barrel sauna.
“The love affair with Afternoon Tea continues to blossom into the 21st Century. The Duchess of Bedford introduced this idea to overcome her hunger in the afternoon. Before long, this Afternoon Tea tradition consumed the nation and became a leisurely pastime enjoyed in high society and now by the wider great British public. Freshly baked finger sandwiches, light afternoon tea cakes and a pot of freshly brewed tea or coffee. It’s the perfect midday treat.”
