Crerar Hotels brings the ultimate wow factor to Mull and Glencoe

Crerar Hotels has created two luxury, bespoke packages which will ‘wow’ guests and their loved ones, launching just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The hotel group is introducing the luxe two-night breaks at its properties in Mull and Glencoe. This follows a £500,000 investment in the five-star Glencoe Inn and a £3.5 million transformation of the Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa.

Available to book now and perfect for a special Valentine’s getaway or an unforgettable proposal, the packages showcase the best of each property and their locations – with every single whim catered for, to the highest possible standards.

Starting from £6,000, each indulgent getaway begins at guests’ own doorsteps, with a luxury transfer. Each break is then totally tailored to suit each of the properties’ breath-taking locations.

Those escaping to the idyllic Isle of Mull will be whisked across the sea in style across from Oban in a private boat before enjoying a sumptuous Champagne seafood grill on a secluded white sandy beach ahead of arrival at the four-star Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa.

As well as a two-night stay in one of the hotel’s new Retreat Suites, which comes with a private hot tub, the package includes dinner on the stunning Wilderness Deck – where they’ll have exclusive use and dine under the stars overlooking Craignure Bay.

Relaxing and restorative treatments at Driftwood Spa are also on the menu, as well as dinner at the AA Rosette Oran na Mara restaurant, and private island tour. The luxury doesn’t end at check-out, with a luxury transfer back home, with six Riedel Veritas Champagne Wine Glasses, plus a bottle of Tattinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blanc 2005 from de Burgh Wine Merchants.

Those opting for the spectacular backdrop of Glencoe, also enjoy stylish luxury transfers, a private boat trip up Loch Etive to take in the beautiful views, while indulging in a Champagne picnic.

Guests will stay in the luxury Loch View suite which features a freestanding bathtub with outstanding views across Loch Leven to the iconic Pap of Glencoe, and be treated to a candlelit dinner in the Steak and Lobster bistro.

The following day, guests will go on an exclusive wildlife safari to spot some of the glen’s red deer and if lucky some pine martins, pole cats and golden eagles. After a day of adventures, guests can relax in the Hidden Garden Spa, where they can soak in the outdoor hot tub or take advantage of the outdoor sauna – taking in the superb views.

Couples can enjoy made to order, oven-fired pizzas from the inn’s recently launched Red Shed Pizza before heading home in style with six Riedel Veritas Champagne Wine Glasses, plus a bottle of Tattinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blanc 2005 from de Burgh Wine Merchants.

Scott Kennedy, General Manager of the Glencoe Inn & Gathering said: “Our new, truly bespoke packages really do bring the ‘wow’ factor, bringing guests the absolute best in authentic and high-end Scottish hospitality. Each break offers a truly decadent experience in an idyllic location – perfect for lavish proposals, milestone anniversaries or something different for Valentine’s Day.

“Every last detail each stay will be organised and taken care of by our outstanding hotel teams, which means couples can truly relax, enjoy and luxuriate from the moment they step out of their home and into their private transfer.

“Mull and Glencoe have so much to offer, and we’ve included the very best of both locations to make sure our guests get to experience as much as possible – with exclusive options just for them.” Price on application.
