Crerar Hotel Group has announced it is working with a new amenity partner to cover all seven of its four- and five-star hotels and inns across its portfolio.

In a bid to support a local family-owned Scottish business, the hotel group has signed a deal with The Highland Soap Co as its supplier of soap and skincare products, in line with the upgrading of its hotels and inns and the ongoing investment into its properties.

In a bid to support a local family-owned Scottish business, the hotel group has signed a deal with The Highland Soap Co as its supplier of soap and skincare products, in line with the upgrading of its hotels and inns and the ongoing investment into its properties.

Crerar Hotel Group is determined to source as local as possible across its seven hotels; and Highland Soaps dovetails nicely, with its new flagship visitor centre in Fort William, six shops in the Highlands, and stockists all across Scotland with a real focus on quality and top-end customers.

Highland Soap’s organic and sustainability emphasis and use of refillable sugarcane bottles, rather than traditional plastics, was also a key part of Crerar’s decision making, as it continues to find ways to reduce their environmental impact.

As part of the exclusive partnership the ‘Hebridean Seaweed’ fragrance will be used in guest bathrooms and ‘Whisky & Honey’ in the public areas.

Chris Wayne-Wills, CEO of Crerar Hotel Group said:

“As we continue to heavily invest in our hotels and our upgrading works continue, this was the right time to review our amenity supplier and The Highland Soap Co ticked all the boxes in terms of reflecting the luxury, local offering on offer at our hotels and inns.

“The eco-credentials, organic products and overall guest experience were a real consideration, and we are confident this new partnership will help maintain those exceptionally high standards we always aim to deliver to our guests domestically and from further afield.

“We always aim to show our guests the very best Scotland has to offer, so it is great to work alongside another Scottish family-owned business to enhance our guests experience both in their rooms and in public areas across all of our hotels.”

Archie MacDonald, co-owner of Highland Soap, said:

‘Crerar Hotels has a portfolio of luxury hotels across the highlands, with an ethos that exactly matches our own. We are thrilled to have been selected by them to supply their bathrooms with our organic amenities.’

The new products are now available across all hotels and inns across the Crerar Hotels portfolio which includes Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa, Oban Bay Hotel, Glencoe Inn, Golf View Hotel & Spa, Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa, Thainstone House and Balmoral Arms.
