The Grill
Our Spanish Josper charcoal-fired grill achieves temperatures of over 500ºC to deliver an exceptional texture and flavour to our grill menu. Grilled lobster and local fish appear regularly on the menu, whilst our Scottish beef is farm-assured, with steaks that are traditionally matured for a minimum of 28 days to ensure maximum flavour, tenderness and quality. Lammermuir Luing beef and red deer venison from our Crerar Home Farm also feature on our menus. All beef and venison are Scottish farm assured.
Local, Seasonal Produce
We feel very fortunate to find the finest seafood – oysters, lobster, langoustines, sea bass – all on our doorstep from the fishing boats docking in Oban. We work with local farms, suppliers and artisan producers as much as we can to bring together the best of the area and the season to showcase on our menus.
Our Suppliers
We pride ourselves on using local suppliers wherever possible, bringing fresh west coast langoustines and mussels straight to your plate. Our meats are supplied by award-winning John Gilmour Butchers while our long-standing partnership with de Burgh Wine Merchants ensures that you will always find the perfect wine to match your meal.
Private Dining
Our private dining room can easily adapt to all kinds of celebrations, special occasions and private dining. Our team puts together a hand-picked menu, bespoke table setting and room décor for important birthdays, anniversaries or festive gatherings.

Tipping Our Team
Most of our guests now prefer to pay via debit or credit card and be able to include a service charge for great service. To make this easier we have added an automatic service charge - we’ve made it a default 10% which you can change to any percentage you wish, including no service charge.
Our teams have always shared service charges and this is no different - every penny you give is shared equally by our teams through our “Fair Fund”. There is no administration cost and nothing is retained by the company, 100% of what you give is guaranteed to go to our team.
Service charge is entirely optional, if you would like us to remove it, you need only ask.
