Christmas Eve
We welcome our guests on Christmas Eve for the start of their festive break. Get settled in for an incredible break ahead to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
Enjoy a welcome tea and mince pie by the fire, and later, pre-dinner mulled wine while listening to the evening piper. We will be serving a special five-course dinner in our 1852 restaurant and later, a post-midnight mass hot toddy.
Christmas Day
The day has arrived! As we wish all our guests a Merry Christmas, enjoy a special breakfast, served with a Mimosa to get your celebrations started. Enjoy our traditional three-course Christmas lunch in the afternoon.
Enjoy your Christmas Day in the picturesque village of Ballater before returning to our welcoming inn to enjoy coffee, cake and a special showing of the King's Christmas Speech. Later, indulge in a Christmas buffet supper before retiring to your room for merry-filled dreams.
Terms and Conditions
Valid on stays from 24th December to 26th December 2025
A 10% deposit will be required at the time of booking. The full balance for all reservations will be taken 12 weeks before arrival. Bookings made within 12 weeks of arrival will require full payment at the time of booking.
All deposits paid are non-refundable & non-transferable. We recommend taking out personal travel insurance for all pre-paid reservations.
