Check-in is at 3pm. Subject to availability we are happy to arrange early check-in, the earliest would be 12pm at a rate of £10.00 for each additional hour.

Check-out is at 11am. We are happy to arrange a later checkout at a rate of £10.00 per hour, please inform reception.

Room Service: A 24 hour menu is available to those who wish to dine in their room.

Before ordering, please inform a member of our team if you have a food allergy or intolerance. We will always do our best to adapt our menus to different requirements.Seasonal changes to hours may apply.

We love our four-legged friends. Well-behaved pups are most welcome in select public areas.Guide dogs are allowed throughout the hotel. 

We charge an additional £25.00 fee per dog, per night to cover deep cleaning costs.

We have dog bowls and treats available onsite. Please let us know if you need anything.

There are two charging points for electric vehicles at the front of the hotel which are part of the ChargePlace Scotland Network. The Charge for this is 85p per kWh plus a £2 connection fee.

Most of our guests now prefer to pay via debit or credit card, including a service charge for excellent service. To make this easier, we have added an automatic service charge, which is set to 10% by default. You can adjust it to any level you prefer, including no service charge. Our teams have always shared service charge - every penny you might want to give is shared equally by our teams. There is no administration cost or anything retained by the company; what you may give is guaranteed to go 100% to our team. Service charge is entirely optional; if you would like us to remove it, you need only ask.

The Fire Precautions Notice is on the back of your bedroom door with the fire exits and evacuation notices. If you have any problems reading or understanding the evacuation plan, please contact a member of the team.

If you prefer to be left alone or your room unserviced, please put the "do not disturb" sign on your door.

Laundry and dry cleaning are available on request. Please note dry cleaning is an off-site service. 

The turnaround for laundry is a minimum of 24 hours. Laundry costs start at £20 per bag, please speak to reception for details.

Please hand in any mail to reception for posting; we have stationary and UK stamps available if you need some. If you receive mail while staying at the hotel, we'll hold it at reception for you.

A selection of UK titles can be ordered from reception before 9pm each evening.

All areas inside the hotel are designated non-smoking, including bedrooms. Where smoking has been detected the hotel will levy a £100 charge for commercial cleaning of any room, as is compliant with the Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005. Our no smoking policing includes e-cigarettes and vaping.

Smokers will find ashtrays outside the hotel.

Parking is limited to two reserved spaces for electric car charging and two disabled bays. On-street paid parking is available and a large car park at Corran Halls is located only a minute's walk from the hotel.

Valet parking is available at Oban Bay Hotel for a fee of £25 per cat, per night. Your vehicle will be parked in a secure area with surveillance cameras in operation. Simple arrive at the hotel and report to reception and our Valet team will assist.
