Due to the hotel’s location along the esplanade, parking spaces are limited to two reserved spaces for electric car charging and two disabled bays. On-street paid parking is available, and a large car park is located only a minute's walk from the hotel.
Regretfully, the hotel has no disabled access.
When you arrive, we ask that you inform a member of staff about your allergies or inform our restaurant / bar staff about your intolerances.
All guests and business associates have access to our free WiFi which can be used throughout the hotel. Plus, our guest rooms also have data ports. We also offer faxing and photocopying services upon request at an extra charge.
We operate on a Standard Cancellation Policy at Oban Bay. We ask that you please notify us a day prior to your arrival by 2pm regarding booking cancellations. This does not apply to pre-paid and non-refundable bookings.

Our guests can check in at Oban Bay from 3pm and check out is at 11am. Early check in and check out is available upon request with a supplementary charge of £10 per hour.
Yes, we cater for families and small children with a limited number of family rooms available. Children up to the age of 12 stay free of charge. If you would like a cot or high chair, please speak to a member of staff and we will accommodate your request free of charge.
At Oban Bay we accept cash payments in Sterling and the majority of credit/debit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, Discover, Diners Club International and American Express.
Oban Bay will not accept personal or travellers cheques as a form of payment. Advance payments may be taken via any of the above payment methods or through bank transfer. Please contact our hotel’s finance team for further details.
Most of our guests now prefer to pay via debit or credit card including a charge for great service. To make this easier we have added an automatic service charge - we’ve made it a default 10% and you can change it to any level you wish including no service charge.
Our teams have always shared service charge and this is no different - every penny you might want to give is shared equally by our teams through our “Fair Fund”. There is no administration cost or anything retained by the company, what you may give is guaranteed to go to 100% to our team.
Service charge is entirely optional, if you would like us to remove it, you need only ask.
Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9.30am through Monday - Friday, and 10.30am at the weekend. Dinner is served between 6.30pm and 9.00pm in The Grill Room restaurant. Our hotel also serves additional light bites throughout the day from 12pm. Young diners menus are also available for your children upon request.
We are a dog friendly hotel in Oban who welcome well behaved dogs, offering fresh drinking water and a place to stay. Dogs are welcome within our guest bedrooms, reception area, the lounge and the grounds of the hotel. All we ask is that you please clean up after your dog for the care of all our other hotel guests.
To clean up extra hairs left by your furry friend, we charge an extra £20 per evening.
No, we are committed to providing our guests with the ultimate holiday experience with a smoke free environment. You cannot smoke or vape in our bedrooms, events spaces or public areas.
We try and cater for just about any special diet, but advance notice is preferred for unusual requirements that may require specialist items to be ordered in advance. Vegetarian options are available in the restaurant on request.
