Do you have car parking?

Due to the hotel’s location along the esplanade, parking spaces are limited to two reserved spaces for electric car charing and two disabled bays. On-street paid parking is available, and a large car park is located only a minute's walk from the hotel.

Is the hotel accessible & DDA compliant?

Regretfully, the hotel has no disabled access.

Do you cater for guests with allergies?

We ask that when you check in or before ordering, please inform a member of our team if you have a food allergy or intolerance

Do you have WiFi and business services?

Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel, including in all guest bedrooms, and guest rooms also have data ports. Fax and photocopying services are also available (at a charge)

What is your cancellation policy?

Standard Cancellation Policy: 48 hours in advance of the day of arrival. With the exception of pre paid and non refundable bookings.

*Due to current exceptional circumstances, all new and existing bookings up to and including 31st May 2020 can be changed free of charge. To make arrangements, please call 0844 950 6282, email reservations@crerarhotels.com, or contact the hotel directly.

What are your check in and out times?

Check in: 3pm

Check out: 11am

Early check in and check out are available on request. A supplement may be charged at £10 per hour.

Do you cater for children and families?

Limited number of family rooms are available and children up to the age of 12 stay free of charge. Cots and high chairs are available free of charge

What currency and credit cards do you accept?

The hotel accepts payments made by cash (Sterling only), most major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, American Express). The hotel is unable to accept personal or travellers cheques

Advance payment may be made by any of the aforementioned methods or by bank transfer. Please contact the hotel finance department for details.

Do you staff accept tips?

By opting to pay a service charge you’re helping us build our “Fair Fund”. This is given back to our whole team, and is available for team members’ personal development opportunities.

What time is food served?

Dinner is served between 6.30pm and 9.00pm in The Rannachan Restaurant. The hotel serves light bites from 12pm. Young diners menus are available.

Do you welcome dogs?

We are pet friendly and welcome well behaved dogs at Oban Bay Hotel, fresh drinking water is available on request. Dogs are welcome in the guestrooms, reception area and the grounds of the hotel and we ask that you clean up after your pet for the care of our other guests in the hotel

Do you allow smoking?

Oban Bay Hotel is committed to providing its guests and associates with a smoke free environment. All bedrooms, public areas and event spaces are non-smoking and non-vaping.

Do you cater for guests with special diets?

We try and cater for just about any special diet, but advance notice is preferred for unusual requirements that may require specialist items to be ordered in advance. Vegetarian options are available in the restaurant on request.

Do you cater for special occasions?

If you're celebrating during your stay, we can help make it memorable. The team is happy to assist with arranging any of the following, to make your stay extra special - champagne, chocolates, flowers, celebration cakes, for anything else - just ask.
