Is Thainstone House hotel accessible & DDA compliant?

Thainstone House is a Palladian manor house and due the nature of the building, most guest rooms are accessible via a lift, there are a small number on ground level. For more details on accessibility please contact the hotel direct or find out more here.

Do you cater for guests with allergies in the Green Lady restaurant?

We ask that all guests staying at Thainstone House advise our receptionists upon arrival or speak to our restaurant team prior to ordering food regarding their food allergies.

Does Thainstone House hotel offer WiFi and business services?

We offer all guests staying at Thainstone House access to our free WiFi which can be used throughout the entire hotel. For those on business trips, we offer fax and photocopying services at a charge.

What is Thainstone House Hotel’s cancellation policy?

At Thainstone House we offer our guests a standard cancellation policy. We ask that you contact us directly if you are unable to make your stay by 2pm the day prior to your arrival. This does not include pre-paid and non-refundable bookings.

Do you have car parking at Thainstone House in Inverurie?

Yes, we offer free on-site car parking for up to 60 cars for our guests and leisure members, including limited electric car charging spaces. Electric Vehicle Charging Points are part of the ChargePlace Scotland Network and are charged at 85p per kWh + a £2 connection fee.

What are the check in and out times at Thainstone House?

You can check in from 3pm and our check out time is 11am.

If you’d like to check in early or check out late, please call us in advance to allow us to check availability. Please note a £10 additional charge will be applied.

Is Thainstone House hotel family friendly?

Yes, we are a family friendly hotel in Inverurie. A number of our rooms have bed settees and space to accommodate a roll away bed, with our leisure facilities, children’s menus and acres of land we are an excellent destination for families. Children under the age of 3 stay free of charge while children 3 to 12 years of age are welcome on a reduced rate.

What currency and credit cards do you accept at Thainstone House?

Our hotel in Inverurie accepts cash payments in British Sterling and the majority of credit/debit cards including; Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, Discover, Diners Club International & American Express.

Our hotel will not accept personal or travellers cheques.

Can your staff accept tips?

Most of Thainstone's guests now prefer to pay via debit or credit card including a charge for great service . To make this easier we have added an automatic service charge - we’ve made it a default 10% and you can change it to any level you wish including no service charge.

Our teams have always shared service charge and this is no different - every penny you might want to give is shared equally by our teams through our “Fair Fund”. There is no administration cost or anything retained by the company, what you may give is guaranteed to go to 100% to our team.

Service charge is entirely optional, if you would like us to remove it, you need only ask.

What time is food served in Thainstone House hotel?

In The Green Lady restaurant, we serve breakfast between 7 am - 10 am Monday to Friday, and 8 am - 10.30 am at the weekend. Dinner between 5.30 pm - 9.30 pm. We also have a young diner’s menu for your children, upon request.

Does Thainstone House hotel welcome dogs?

Yes, we will welcome both you and your four-legged friend into our hotel in Inverurie. Our guest rooms, reception area and hotel grounds are all dog friendly. Fresh drinking water is also available to keep your dog hydrated.

Please look after your four-legged friend, clean up after your dog and keep them on a lead inside the hotel. To clean up after your dog, we charge a supplement of £20 per dog, per night.

Thainstone House has pledged to provide its guests with a smoke free hotel environment. All of our beautiful bedrooms, public areas, restaurants and event spaces are non-smoking.

At Thainstone House hotel we try our best to cater to all dietary requirements however, please provide advance notice for unusual requirements to ensure we can cater for you during your stay.

Do you cater for special occasions at Thainstone House?
