Is the hotel accessible & DDA compliant?
Thainstone House is a Palladian manor house and due the nature of the building, most guest rooms are accessible via a lift, there are a small number on ground level. For more details on accessibility please contact the hotel direct or find out more here.
Do you cater for guests with allergies?
We ask that when you check in or before ordering, please inform a member of our team if you have a food allergy or intolerance.
Do you have WiFi and business services?
Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel, including in all guest bedrooms. Fax and photocopying services are also available (at a charge).
What is your cancellation policy?
Standard cancellation policy: 24 hours in advance of the day of arrival. With the exception of pre-paid and non-refundable bookings.

Do you have car parking?
Free on-site car parking for up to 60 cars.
What are your check in and out times?
Check in: From 3pm
Check out: By 11am
Early check in and check out are available on request. A supplement of £10 an hour may be charged, subject to availability.
Do you cater for children and families?
A number of our rooms have bed settees and space to accommodate a roll away bed, with our leisure facilities, children’s menus and acres of land we are an excellent destination for families.
What currency and credit cards do you accept?
The hotel accepts payments made by cash (Sterling only) and most major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, American Express).
The hotel is unable to accept personal or travellers cheques.
Do your staff accept tips?
By opting to pay a service charge you’re helping us build our “Fair Fund”. This is given back to our whole team, and is available for team members’ personal development opportunities.
What time is food served?
Dinner is served between 6.30pm and 9.30pm in The Green Lady restaurant. Stockman’s Bar serves food between 5.30pm and 9.00pm, lounge service is available from 9.00am to 6.00pm. A young diner's menus is also available.
Do you welcome dogs?
We are pet friendly and welcome well behaved dogs. Fresh drinking water is available on request. Dogs are welcome in the guestrooms, reception area and the grounds of the hotel. We just ask that you clean up after your pet for the care of our other guests in the hotel, and keep your dog on a lead inside the hotel.
Do you allow smoking?
Thainstone House is committed to providing its guests and associates with a smoke free environment. All bedrooms, public areas and event spaces are non-smoking.
Do you cater for guests with special diets?
We try and cater for just about any special diet, but advance notice is preferred for unusual requirements that may involve specialist items to be ordered in advance.
Do you cater for special occasions?
If you are celebrating during your stay, we can help make it memorable. On request, the reception team will be happy to assist with arranging any of the following to make your stay extra special - Champagne, chocolates, flowers and celebration cakes.
