Water
Sugar
Cacao
Nutmeg
Cinnamon
Full Fat Milk
Double Thick Cream (optional)
Snowball (optional)
Make a sugar syrup with equal measures of water and sugar.
Mix in good quality cacao (we use Cacao Barry) which is extremely rich and luxurious. You can add as much as suits your taste but we are very generous with the amount we use.
Toast off nutmeg and cinnamon and then add to the above mixture.
You should end up with a consistently of a very thick paste.
Then heat full fat milk in a saucepan or microwave and add to your paste stirring as you add.
Top of with a sprinkling of cocoa powder, double thick cream, or get creative and make one of our snowballs and add that!
